Catch up

For the past few months Chase has been working hard in Downtown Atlanta. He attended the leadership training I wrote about before and said he felt a little out of place surrounded by senior missionaries but he learned a lot. He said "Fake it 'till you make it" has become his slogan. I guess we all have to do that every once in a while. This past week was transfers and he got transferred to Phenix City, AL. It's about 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, right on the GA/AL border. He said he likes it a lot so far, and, surprise, surprise, he's a Senior Companion. He should have seen that one coming--after all, his Mission pres did say he'd be in a leadership position really soon. He said his new companion is a "Fresh 19 with no green card." Which Chase translated to mean he can't drive yet. So he said he's loving getting to drive everywhere. He has a baptism scheduled for Sept. 25th and three more people with a date set. If they all follow through with their commitments, he said that will be 7 baptisms so far. Way to go Chase!
